Mid-September turned out to be a good estimate for when we’d be finished working on Tilt to Live 2… but you can’t actually release a game as soon as you finish working on it. It looks like we’ll be pushing back about a month to beta test before we go charging people money for this thing. October/November feels like a very likely release window. It’s longer than we intended to spend on this game, given that Tilt to Live 1 was done part-time in about six months (with much simpler graphics and one game mode). We’re still doing much better than the year and a half we put into Outwitters. The longer we spend making a game, the more we have to sell to break even.
As we get closer to a solid release date, you can expect to start seeing some actual screenshots and video of the game in action.

So here is the “what were we thinking” post that we all know and love. I start to worry it won’t come for a minute.
Glad to hear some confirmation on when the game is coming out. Looking forward to beta testing. 🙂
Yes, PLEASE try to break even on this one. I haven’t forgotten what you said on the forums about a possible Outwitters sequel, Mr. Adam. You guys will be in my prayers! 🙂
If OML is one of those companies with a bunch of sequels, it truly will be redonkulous. Outwitters 9 will be ridiculous. I’d still play it though.
There was this time I saw Tilt to Live for the first time, but the title was bundled up together, so I thought it was called Tiltt Olive.
@Someone21
OML: Introducing: TTL 18!
Fans: OML, these sequels are ruining teh franchise. ;-; The last good sequel you made was TTL 4, and that was just barely passable ;-;
Adam: ALEX WAT R WE GON DO
Alex: I haz an idea .3.
OML: Introducing: TTL 4 2!
Fans: *headdesk*
@Cozyhut3 What a fantasy in 2064 you made there, taking account of time for new games they make as well as new sequels.
Hope you make it compatible with IPad 1, cuz thats what I have and am not planning on laying down the money on a more current gen. Can’t wait to see some screenshots and gameplay videos!
As long as it supports iOS 6, you can take as long as you need to get it right.
@Someone21: You lost me. 😛 I was just envisioning a future where Adam and Alex go sequel-crazy. 😛
Can you guys support my 2nd gen 40gb iPod? I’m really getting tired of this brick breaking game & solitaire…
@Cozyhut3 OK, sure. Besides sequels, what will they think of next? I remember when they posted about some kind of racing game (velocipedists), and seeing some of the leftover team ideas from Outwitters.
Sometimes I play Tilt to Live, lose, and stop playing for the day because I had only One Man Left.
What ARE you thinking?
Make Outwitters for the Android and make it paid not free.
Make some money guys
@Jay This is why I hate every phone type but iOS. iOS forever!!!
@Jay And they will make some moola in TtL2.
