Taking a Progress Dump

by

It’s been quite a week for us. Our fake Pinocchio placeholder menus are slooowly being replaced by their “real boy” versions, and we’re starting to wrap our heads around what life will be like in the menus outside the game. There’s a lot more going on in Menu Town than we had in Tilt to Live. Alex hopes to have online matchmaking working in some form soon, so we can start playing asynchronously with friends and family (that feature had been lost while we focused on other stuff). 2v2 is working, and Whitaker Blackall is polishing up a pretty sweet Feedback theme. Lots done and lots still to do!

Here’s a screenshot of the Arrow doing what he does best: pointing at things.

    OneAlexLeft? Anyways, I like this better the the fake ones. And nice arrows.

    Looks neat! 🙂
    I’m pretty excited! 😀

  3. Solan says:

    Lol that the last move for both players was 10 hours ago. Long game, huh? Also, the hero from TtL making a comeback!:D Looks pretty good.

    Always good to see progress! I LOVE the idea of playing multiple games at the same time, and that screenshot looks pretty nice. I like the nod to TtL, too. You mention 2v2 as well – holy crap, we can have teams in this game?!? And Whitaker Blackall being confirmed as the soundtrack composer just tops this off so well. Can’t wait!

    What they said ^ XD

  6. Isaac says:

    “…the hero from TtL making a comeback…”

    Haven’t you heard? You play the villain in TtL!

  7. Solan says:

    I guess that the arrow could be considered a cereal killer of innocent red dots that are trying to hug him.:D

  8. Super Volcano says:

    Except for the fact that the arrow shatters when they do hug him…

    Anyway, this looks so incredible it’s amazing. Whitaker Blackall? 4 players? Multiple games? OH GOD YES!

  9. Isaac says:

    Nope. You play the villain, and the good guys always win in the end.

  10. Solan says:

    Not always true, in fact most of the time the villains can win. The reason they never do is because they always need some sort of sadistic, cruel, and overly complicated death for the hero. And they don`t even stay to make sure he/she dies.
    Off topic ftw.

    A bit off topic but, I just got an iPad 2 and bought tilt to live HD and it works fine. However when I turn game center on it erases my scores, then when I turn it off again my scores come back… This means I can’t use game center on this app 🙁

  12. Alex says:

    @Mrcheese911 Hmm, looks like the initial syncing of your local scores with GC failed. In your case, your scores aren’t being erased. There are simply just 2 databases (the local one and game center’s), and when you switch on GC it’s looking at GC’s. Enabling GC still saves your scores to both databases. I’ll try to have a fix out for this soon.

    @Alex ok thanks 🙂

  14. lolcoptr says:

    last move 10 hours ago? so the multiplayer can stretch over many days?

  15. Isaac says:

    @Solan yeah, I know. I am a villain myself, and I ALWAYS win.

    Except playing TtL. Where you can’t. Which is kinda the point.

    @lolcoptr I hope so!
