i gotta raise my high score asap

  2. T-Will says:

YES! Played it a little this morning and made it into the top 100 list. ๐Ÿ˜€ I need to go back and review the strategy to use in Turret’s Syndrome.

  3. lloyd says:

Yay, on gamecentre, im second in the whole world! Probably wont be for much longer. The game mode gets very hard very quickly

  4. Justin S. says:

Darn! Too bad I don’t have any money left. I’ve got 11 cents. xD

  5. Will-B says:

It’s sad really that so many brats out there dropped TTL’s rating from four-and-a-half to three stars just because Viva La Turret costs 99 cents. They got along fine without it.

  6. Troll says:

Why doesn’t the update cost five dollars?

  7. Someone says:

2 star average. Worse than the foreseen 3 1/2. Seriously… People didn’t complain when the price was raised to 3$.

  8. ZOK says:

I’m 41 in the world, currently…I quite like the Viva La Turret game mode, but the perforator really spoils Classic and Code Red. Needs an option to switch it back off, I think.

  9. Francois says:

Is this mode coming to the iPad HD version as well ?
Will I have to pay for it again if I’ve already bought it on the iPhone version and I want it on the iPad version ?
    Thx guys.
    Keep ’em comin’ !!!

  10. Troll says:

Ok this has to stop…is the OneManLife people changing comments of people to make themselves look good?

  11. Someone says:

No, just you. It’s the truth.

  12. Alex says:

@Francois Yes the turret mode is coming to HD as well. Sometime in January is the current plan.

  13. Someone says:

    Hey, what’s the song name?

  14. Long time reader first time writer says:

Just wanted to let you know that the new mode sucks balls! I dont regret spending the buck, mind you, you guys definitely deserve it and i hope you are gonna make more awesome games in the future.

The turret thingy sucks seriously sucks tho. Best thing about it was the name and that got removed.

    Yours humbly,

    Code red fan

  15. Justin S. says:

Way to make a good first impression^^^

    —-

Have you sent out the emails yet OML?

  16. Adam says:

Yep, all of the contest winners have been notified. There’s always the next game.

  17. Arvin says:

    ^NOOO!!! all hope is lost…

  18. Someone says:

To tell you the truth, I have no idea if I got it. Stupid Gmail.

  19. Someone says:

    Nope, no code here.

  20. Arvin says:

@someone how did you get ur name to be orange?

  21. Someone says:

@Arvin: I add the URL to whatever page I’m commenting on in the website box. That way it makes it orange without linking.

  22. Justin S. says:

    @Adam

Alright! Thanks anyway. ๐Ÿ™‚ Christmas is this Saturday so hopefully I’ll scrape up enough cash to buy a giftcard. Can’t wait! (now all I need is that iPod 4 =P)

  23. Justin S. says:

Oh, and I meant to add that I’m loving the music from the trailer. Somewhat Indiana Jones-y.

  24. Sam says:

Great update, well worth the 99ยข. Thanks!

  25. Alex says:

@someone Then how would you know if I’m really Alex?

  26. Someone says:

    @Alex: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh… what?

  27. Arvin says:

    @someone xD that was me

  28. Jimmy says:

Damn, really excited when they announced that Viva la turret was out on the December 22nd. What I didnt know is that you had to pay 0.99 cents for the expansion. My parents never let me play games that cost money. The expansion costs money so yea…. (BTW I got Tilt To Live by the Free App A Day Offer).

  29. Someone says:

It kinda makes sense about it being 1$. They need money for music. : )

  30. Someone says:

Well, you’re not the only ones with in-app purchase problems. Angry Birds just got the Mighty Eagle update and the ratings dropped to 3 1/2 stars.

  31. Ronnie says:

    Heck!
    Will everyone chill out!
    Ohhh why does it cost…..
    Ohh it’s rubish……
    Booooooooooo……

Look at the trailer, think it’s for you, get it
    don’t, then don’t get it.

We were all getting along before so don’t attack one man left for making an expansion to their amazing game.
    Espasially at Christmas

    poor one man left

  32. Justin S. says:

    +1 ^

  33. Troll says:

BOOOOOOOO…make the app 3.99 and don’t have in app purchase

  34. Troll says:

i will actually buy the game for 3.99 but in app purchase is just a pain

  35. Someone says:

    @Troll: …You’re lazy

  36. Arvin says:

My friend bought it, and I signed on his account an try to get it for free, but I couldn’t x_x

  37. Justin S. says:

Got an iTunes card today, bought the game, and I can tell it’s worth it. I’ve only played ~3 games, but each one has been action packed and fun. Good job, OML, glad I could support you.

  38. Icon says:

-_- Wow, a merry christmas to you : gluttonous, voracious, ravenous, insatiable, avaricious, covetous, acquisitive, materialistic, self – centered, self โ€“ seeking, self โ€“ interested, egotistical, egocentric, egotistical, insensitive, inconsiderate, thoughtless, spiteful, heartless, power – hungry game developers. hope you have a merrier christmas and enjoy all the money you made with the expansion.

  39. Someone says:

Great… you lost a dollar. Whatever shall we do without a dollar! All hope is lost! We’ll all go broke just because we lost one dollar! Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Not the dollar! We’re all gonna die because of ONE DOLLAR!!!!!

  40. Dwayne says:

@Icon: You sure you’re not the greedy one for thinking that you deserve this for free? The developers worked hard. They deserve the money for it.

  41. Andrew says:

@Icon You’re completely right…how could they rob of us of $1, ITS TOO MUCH MONEY!!!! Instead of getting this awesome update Ima go buy a lollipop for a dollar. Seriously, these guys are indie devs and indie devs don’t have a tonne of money to give away free stuff. Maybe one day if you make a game you would understand there’s a lot of time & money put in to it and its not just a matter of coming up with the idea and instantly making money…

  42. Someone says:

I have an idea! How about all of you idiots who complain go work your butts off making an extremely aweome game, and give it away for free!

  43. Arvin says:

    War caused by one dollar…

  44. Andy says:

Turret’s Syndrome is brilliant fun. I can’t put it down. And 59p is nothing to pay for the hours of fun I’ve already ha playing it.

However, I don’t think the turret belongs in the original games. The gameplay is very different

  45. Andrew says:

@Andy Yeah I agree with you there. The gameplay is certainly more…err…complex from the others.

  46. Andrew says:

@Troll One Man left is changing the comments. Its a lot more likely someone is putting their name as ‘troll’ and putting up ‘non-hostile’ comments. You want to know why, its because your being obnoxious.

  47. James says:

@Troll, i agree with you 100% the OML people are being bitches and changing people’s comments

  48. Adam says:

I changed two of Troll’s comments, only because his name was Troll and it made me laugh. I could see how it is less funny to you. If you like, I can change them back to the worthwhile originals: “Make it freeeeee…” and “Make it freeee, dammit.”

  49. Adam says:

Also like to point out that James and Troll are posting from the same IP address, which makes it even funnier.

  50. Poedonk says:

I don’t understand the current gamer trend of self entitlement. I think one dollar was beyond reasonable for the update. Gamers need to re-evaluate their outlook on life.

Have you produced anything worth a dollar of someone else’s time lately?

Pirates and children who act like developers owe them something are making it hard for independent developers to make break out games.

  51. Someone says:

@Andy: It’s called Viva la Turret. Which translates to Turret Alive. Which I don’t get. How can an inanimate object be alive? Well, obviously, by spinning around and shooting things. Yay.

  52. Solan says:

I got the update, and it worked just fine yesterday. But today, when I go onto TtL, it just freezes and goes back to the iPod menu. If possible, can you guys try to fix this?

  53. Solan says:

Sorry, I just tried again, and it worked. That was really odd.

  54. Someone says:

I thought there was 58 comments before. I think they were about deleting co- WHAT THE!?!?!?!?!

  55. EPro says:

While I have loved playing Tilt to Live since it first came out – with Code Red my favorite time eater – I do not enjoy Viva la Turret at all. I am wanting to say I hate the new level but that’s just a tad too strong. Though I’ve played it out of sheer frustration a hundred times, I get zero enjoyment out of it. I wish I could find the words to describe my distaste for Turret but it’ll have to suffice in that I feel like I wasted a dollar. Actually, I find Turret so annoying and infuriating I want to delete Tilt to Live off my iPhone; but then I remind myself that the rest of the excellent game is still there.

  56. Calvin says:

New level means new challenges! I like this turret thing better than the ice level, though the game will get a bit lag if the jewels on screen are around 500 in my iPhone 3G.

  57. Adam says:

@Someone: It was one guy posting as six people, so we removed them.

  58. James says:

Can you make your next app 3.99 and not have in app purchase? thanks

  59. Someone says:

@James: Tilt to Live HD costs 3.99 already and that’s an in-app purchase. I don’t think that will work very well.

  60. Somebody says:

@creators How come when i try to buy the addon, it says”this acc is not valid for sandbox. Plz log in with a different acc.” plz email answer

  61. EPro says:

After further playing and consideration I do now wish to unequivocally state that I hate Viva la Turret. It is not fun at all. It’s an exercise in frustration. I think One Man Left owes us a big apology for this massive mistake. I hope the next FREE update gives us a return to the quality game play they crafted before the bad idea of Turret. And, for what it is worth, I am the only score – again, the only score whatsoever – on my local leaderboard. What does that tell you?

  62. dan says:

    @Somebody same problem

  63. MSW says:

When is the Viva la Turret (HD) in-app purchase coming to the iPad? My son is bugging me about getting the update, but there’s no way I’m buying the iphone app to play on the iPad.

  64. matt says:

it wont purchase?? what is sandbox intertainment?

  65. matt says:

    entertainment*

  66. Kurtis says:

Can you please come up with a way to disable the Turrent powerup? It has made the game much less fun. My high scores have dropped from +10M to ~3M because of it.
While you’re at it, disabling any chosen powerups would be nice.
