As I write this, we’ve got ten weapons mocked up and generally playable. About half of them are pretty enough to ship, the rest are still drawn in crayon or made of construction paper. We may cut the arsenal down if we decide a weapon isn’t really adding anything interesting to the mix. Tilt to Live launched with 8 weapons, so this feels about right.
June has been designated “Boss Fight” month. By July, we’re aiming to have all of our boss encounters finalized, each with an easy Classic Mode version, and a much harder Code Red version. So far we’re still on track to hit our narrow release window of “2013”.

Hooooooooo
thirsty,cant wait
look forward a high tide
So… 18 weapons in the game altogether then?
So if you cut some of the weapons do you mind to show them in the blog like you did with Outwitters 🙂
@Alon: If that was the case, we’d be waiting at least a year to see them. 😛
beta test! beta test!
Sounding great so far! Really looking forward to seeing the bosses. I hope there is still some kind of Gauntlet mode, though I think I prefer the iPhone Gauntlet over the iPad one. Both are fun, but the iPhone one seems more different from Code Red and normal mode.
@Szei: For release, we’re focusing on Classic and Code Red only, just to get the framework in place. We’ve been floating some update ideas around that I think you’ll like, though. We were never very happy with iPhone’s Gauntlet mode (too few waves, too sparse), but we’ve certainly got the tools to do it right this time if we choose to.
One Man Left: cranking out hits one weapon at a time, and now with bosses kids!
Not sure if you heard about the recent raid a former Infinity Ward employee’s studio, but this story would have been better if the statue was replaced with a giant red dot or TTL boss 🙂

@Adam: iPhone’s Gauntlet has always been my favorite game mode. AND considering that Tilt to Live is pretty much my favorite app ever, iPhone’s Gauntlet is number 1 on my list of iPhone capabilities. However, your point is valid about the sparse-ness of it. Maybe you could do a regular and “code-red”-type version of Gauntlet having an easy and hard mode of it?
I know it hasn’t been confirmed yet, but if an Android version of the game were to be released (please, Tilt to Live is the greatest mobile game I have ever played), would it be released alongside the iOS version or delayed?
The release is going to be iOS exclusive. Not prepared to say we’re definitely going to port to Android after that, but we plan to look into it.
Must add lightsaber…
