Bought a copy today and it’s pure awesome!

Just one problem, the dots seem to be able to hide under the weapon pickups. I’ve failed a couple of times because of this!

Is multiplayer ever coming? I sure hope it is!

  2. Someone says:

Who could possibly have rated it less than 5 stars? Also, that dot-behind-powerup thing. Not too good. I also think there should be at least 5 powerups on screen instead of 4. At least on Code Red. Another suggestion of which I suggested previously is the classic Gauntlet also on iPad. May the Awesomeness be with you.

  3. Someone says:

One more thing. TILT TO LIVE LOOKS BORING NOW. Once again, thank you for your time.

  4. Someone says:

One more one more thing. How do I subscribe with fake_email@ress.com?

You’re gonna block my comments now, aren’t you?

  7. Sera says:

    hi devs!
i’ve promised, that i’ll buy this game, although i didn’t own an iPad. i’ve left a very detailed review in the german appstore!
i my opinion it is great for everybody to test the free version, but i think worse player will rate this game low. it would be better, if there only is a version you pay for.
i’m still in love with TTL and waiting for the retina update and gyro support. maybe there will be new content, too?

    • Alex says:

@Sera Thanks for the support! And yes, the retina and gyro support are on their way.

@Someone why would we do that? 😛 Don’t get too carried away.

  8. Kitchenator says:

Bought the full version today and love it! Nice job, guys. Code Red high score today: 19,425,125!

But I noticed that the blast radius for the Nuke and the Bubble seems a tad small, especially compared to the freeze radius of the Ice weapon. And another vote to fix the dot under weapon thing.

  9. Sam says:

Yes I agree, the explosion radius is a bit too small.

  10. Super Volcano says:

I don’t have an iPad but this looks amazing! I’m obsessive about the original and I really want this! The nuke blast radius could be annoying if you compare it with the new ice blast (trailers reveal all)

Dots hiding behind weapons would be very frustrating

I’m all for Gauntlet Evolved, which looks amazing. I wasn’t too impressed with the original Gauntlet though…

Both Classic and Code Red look harder, which is good. Can someone tell me about any new awards?

    • Alex says:

@Super Volcano we definitely tweaked the weapon balance to keep it interesting on the iPad as you can tell with the radii of the blasts for nuke vs ice.

The dots behind the pick up issue is kind of a *face palm* moment for us as it’s something that just snuck through into release without getting addressed in time. So expect that to get fixed in the next update.

There aren’t any additional awards in this version. We’ve tweaked several of them to accomodate the new play style and revamped a few for Gauntlet Evolved.

  11. Jonas says:

How can I gift the full version to a friend?

  12. HuMa says:

I love the iPhone version, but the HD version crashes while starting. iPad restart / reset did not help.
    (iPad 3G 64GB iOS 3.2.2)

  13. Someone says:

@ Jonas: First you must learn the ways of the Force, eat the mystical burrito with 101 beans, become an official cheese taster, shoot a blender with a photon laser, watch 5 random James Bond movies in a day and throw exactly 72 rocks at a sleeping bear. In other words, you can’t.

  14. Kinga783 says:

I won the competition (yay!) but dont have an ipad. Would I be able to exchange the prize for something else. I already own the ipod/iphone version

  15. Yan says:

I’m in the first position of the Classic Mode’s worldwide ranking with 124.996.184

    What do I gain ?

  16. Lloyd says:

The prestige of everyone looking up to you! 😛

  17. Yan says:

    hahahaah

I’m very addicted to Tilt to Live HD and as Someone said, now Tilt to Live for iPhone looks boring especially when it’s running in an iPhone 4 because of the graphics.

But I hope dev guys will release an update with retina display and gyro support so the iphone version can get some gas.

    What about new weapons ?

  18. Someone says:

@Yan: A lot of us already have some new weapon ideas. Why don’t you help us ideaify them? Also, iPad is getting Game Center soon. (iOS 4.2. Google it.) And fix the part in iPad where it says do not turn off your iPhone to advance. It should be iPad. There’s also an achievement where it says “with all eight weapons unlocked”. And I hear static in the iPad version.

  19. Yan says:

a multiplayer mode would be awesome.

  20. Someone says:

@Yan: Explain exactly how that is possible.

  21. Yan says:

there are too many ways to make it possible:

2 iphones/ipads over bluetooth/wi-fi, playing together to kill as many red dots as possible.

2 iphones/ipads over bluetooth/wi-fi, fighting each other, with all those weapons

using 2 iphones as controller and one ipad as monitor, so you can play any mode above.

I think they are possible and funny. (that’s my humble opinion).

  22. Someone says:

    I like first idea best.

  23. Someone says:

Hm… Gauntlet has 4 lives. Gauntlet Evolved has 1 life. Gauntlet’s time is worth a quarter of Gauntlet Evolved’s points. However, Gauntlet only has an average of 2 orbs, while Gauntled Evolved has 4. Restoring the quarter to half. Green orbs are worth 50 points or 5 seconds. Blue are 150 points or 10 seconds. If you pick up in orb in Gauntlet Evolved, the rest temporarily turn blue. Not sure how that works but Gauntlet is now worth 3/4 of Gauntlet Evolved for that fact. Average of Gauntlet is 7 1/2 seconds. Gauntlet Evolved is 100 points. Doubled for lowest common multiple, 15 and 200. 15 ÷ 4 x 3 (If you have a better way of doing that, I would love to hear it) = 11.25. Multiplied by 4 would be 45 to get a whole number and 200 will be 800. Lowest common multiple would be… 9 and 160. So basicly 9 seconds in Gauntled is 160 points in Gauntled Evolved. Now you know how to transfer those scores.

  24. Alex says:

@Huma It’s a known issue and we’ve got an update on the way to resolve it. Right now, If you turn off your Wifi/3G it should work.

  25. Yourstress says:

I have a question regarding the “Restore your Full Version purchase” feature in Tilt to Live HD.

I have previously purchased Tilt to Live, I’m assuming that means I can use this feature to unlock all weapons and modes in the HD version, correct?

I hope that’s what it does, because all I’m getting is “Restoring…” and I’ve kept it for 20 minutes – it didn’t do anything!

Could it be because I’m using iPad firmware 4.2 beta?

  26. Alex says:

@Yourstress That button applies to anyone who bought the full version inside the HD game. It does not have any connection to Tilt to Live on the iPhone, sorry.
