One thing you’ll notice immediately from this screenshot is the word “Score” where “Time” should be. While we were tweaking gameplay for the upcoming Tilt to Live HD, we invented a brand new Gauntlet mode; one that takes advantage of all this glorious space. It’s the same idea: survive weaponless in a barrage of dots, axes, and nasty surprises. But it’s no longer your time that counts. It’s how you use it.
What’s different?
- Everything.
- Dots, axes, and knives will be coming from all four edges of the screen, not just the right.
- No predictable formations, only chaos!
- No lives, you wimp.
- No depleting life bar at the bottom. Orbs give you points, instead.
- Orbs are more valuable if you collect them quickly.
- You won’t be graded on how long you last, but how many points you can gather.
Be on the lookout for TtL HD later this month. Classic mode is free to try, but this new Gauntlet is only playable in the full version.

Can’t wait!
If I don’t have an iPad will it just scroll across the screen if I play it on an iPhone?
Will you make that on iphone in the future?
Why don’t you make a “Tetris” animation with the red dots on Gautlet? (or maybe the Frostbite)
@Bernardo Ferrari I think there already IS a Tetris animaion on Frostbite. Or at least pieces.
I’m fine with all of this as long as the music stays the same.
I for one love this change as the current iPhone version, while incredibly challenging and nicely randomized, it still felt very claustrophobic with there really being only one correct track through the level. From these screenshots it looks closer to what would one be going through trying to pull off the Pacifist achievement without even needing to worry about those pesky weapons getting in your way.
I know this is off-topic but will you make TtL on the iphone game center compatible?
I was wondering about Game Center compatibility plans for the iPhone version as well, as TtL is the only Agon game I have. Game Center would be much more useful for me.
I have absolutely no idea what game centre is but whatever.
argh! i’ll need retina support, even more weapons, game modes and maybe a multiplayer
well, i would pay for it of course 😉
I don’t care about retina support, but I would not begrudge paying extra for more weapons and game modes – maybe you should make a sequel (TILT TO LIVE 2!!!! :P) I think this game is well worth it’s price tag and am bewildered why this has not made it to top 10 or even 1 anywhere! However, I feel multiplayer would really make the game too complex – I like the game because it it is simple and precise controls. I’ll definately be following this site to see what game you come up with next.
i think that once you guys are finished with the ttl on ipad, youguys should make a completely new game for the iphone.
