Scrambling to the Top
Feel like mixing things up a bit and will try an experiment with Feedback. With an alt account I will only play Feedback and see how viable they are at the higher ranks. I'll post every game in this thread and any thoughts I have around it.
The common view is that adorables is much better than feedback at higher levels. I tend to agree, but it will be interesting to see how big that difference is and on what maps etc. Hopefully we can get some interesting Feedback discussions going! *UPDATE* On this first post I keep a list of replay highlights. Not only from me but from others as well all including scramble action. I'll try to keep them interesting so won't include games of the typical: "Scrambler in the back line crushes opponents attack and win the game" as those should be familiar to everyone. I rather have failed scrambler plays than ordinary winning ones. Sweet Tooth outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20Ym-fBAww - 11 turns Risky scrambler counting on his wit count and positioning to fail to spot it. outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YuZveAww - 13 turns Risky play resulting in a quick win. Not sure what would have happened had he killed my scrambler. outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YmeXEAww - 25 turns Not sure what to say other than - massive scrambler chain reactions! Thorn Gulley outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20Y9-DXAww - 36 turns Try a scrambler attack through the middle to scramble his heavy, fails due to a miscalculation. Win later by pushing through opponents wit side. outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YwNjWAww - 26 turns Scrambler attack on opponents wit side. Think this is close to standard strategy for feedback vs scallywags on this map. Peekaboo outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20Yp8XaAww - 17 turns Saved wits to be able to scramble opponents early scramble outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20Y8JLYAww - 15 turns Standard attack vs scallywags. I include this because it is so standard, by counting wits I can be almost 100% sure where the bombshell is. Reaper outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YiNLaAww - 14 turns Risky scrambler, at the next turn realize I can't use it and have to postpone attack. Shark Food outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YrpblAww A very risky early scrambler attacking spawn. I don't like the play as the risk/reward is so poor. Maybe something to play 10% of the time to keep opponent on their toes? Soldier spam FTW |

RE: Scrambling to the Top
I feel I'll become a frequent poster in this thread.
Now everyone's going to have to watch out for a player suddenly skyrocketing through the top 200 with feedback only It's a really good team, but like all teams the outcome depends on situations. Once a master of nothing, now a noob to pretty much everything. Hiatus resolved. I stalk these hallways again. GC Silent_Dynasty because I'm indecisive and whatever ;u; |

RE: Scrambling to the Top
Problem is that you're top 1 alvendor, and it's surely not only due to mobi awesomness. All that map knowledge and decision making you acquired will still be here with feedback and it´s certain you won't be defeated before a while

4. outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YmrzJAww
5. outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20Y7ZbAAww Glitch again and not vs feedback so I go for an early sniper again on turn 2. On turn 4 I realize he can possibly kill my sniper with a soldier. I don't make a new unit just so I can make a scrambler on turn 6 if needed. Not making a unit on the second turn is not good. I need to find another opening! I get placed into gifted, yay! (05-19-2013 03:31 AM)Mag!cGuy Wrote: Problem is that you're top 1 alvendor, and it's surely not only due to mobi awesomness. I just don't know when and how that trouble will come! Facing a good adorables on reaper is not something I'm looking forward to 6. outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YxpXCAww Promoted to master. Seems like they have sped up the ranking mechanics quite a lot! Soldier spam FTW |

RE: Scrambling to the Top
It would be funny if your second account was ranked #2 in a couple of months. Then you'd just be playing yourself and poweewee.

RE: Scrambling to the Top
Haha I doubt that will happen. It will be interesting when I run into bombshell turtlers. Haven't played against that in probably nine months!
Wt* do I have a 5 game limit on alt accounts? Soldier spam FTW |

RE: Scrambling to the Top
Their are plenty of players in the top 50 that win games with feedback vs Adorables 1v1 so why is their any doubt that feedback can not be compared with Adorables in the top games?
I mean I'm not the expert on the subject, speaking strictly from viewing ST 1v1 replays. I'm just curious, apparently not as much as you are, to know the why Adorables can not be competed with by feedback. Sure, as you have showed in your games the starting out strategy is slightly different, and which units you'll depend on the most. I believe that isn't the belief in 2v2 teams.
