"The 16 competitors who are awesome enough to make it through the Second Phase will face off in a Double Elimination sequence. You may lose once, the second loss means you're eliminated. Everyone will start in Round 1, the winners will move on to round 2, while the losers play the losers' bracket round 1 (noted as round L1).

The maps will be fixed per round. All rounds will be a best-of-3, where the prioritized seed (explained below) will get P1 in 2 of the 3 games (slight exception: the second finale round, noted as 'round +', will be a single game)."

I am a little bit confused about this. For example, poweewee will invite me twice and if I lose both games I would go down to the lower bracket?

I got confused because it's typed "You may lose once, the second loss means you're eliminated" and "all rounds will be best-of-three". Does a second loss mean you have lost 4 games as it were?

Sorry for my ignorance. And another questions: "is in the lower bracket best-of-three mode as well?

Please someone explain it to me. Thanks in advance.

Jesusfuentesh, when gfish says "one loss", he means you lost a whole battle. That means for exemple poweewee has beaten you 2-0, so this is your first loss. Then you will meet someone else in the loser brackets, and if you lose against, let's say, me 2-1, that is your second loss: you are eliminated. See?

The loser bracket is also bo3.

As for your exemple, you are almost correct. If you lose twice, you go down to the loser bracket, but poweewee won't invite you twice if he beats you twice.
In the first two games, one will invite each other. And, if there is a tie, poweewee will invite you to decide who wins by 2-1. See what I mean? ^^
