If your opponent is just spawning thorn patches and not units, just kill a parent thorn patch and their 18 children and march right up to the undefended front door.

My last three league games against veggies (all the one's I've finished so far). Won all three. (Veggie player is master level.)

I think bramble is certainly OP. But so what? It's a GAME! Play it. Have fun with something new.
You're not a bad person if you lose. It's just a different challenge. And if you're really concerned about what your skill level looks like; think of this as karma for all the UP veggie match-ups in the past months.

I think feedback players have a *slight* advantage dealing with this change simple because we *always* have to play aggressively. If you sit and let bramble make parallel thorn networks it's going to be hard to uproot....
So don't.
Unit composition vs. bramble is different than against other teams as well.

(No bramble was ever even spawned in this game, but that's the point. Also note: if he'd played turn 5 more conservatively (finished heavy with a runner) he'd have devastated me that turn. But he was saving wits for a bramble I'll bet you and it turned out poorly for him.)

Definitely not bragging (wish I were playing well enough that I could. Just speaking with actions and not just words re: anti-veggie strategies. ; )

That means you don't know how to defend. The bramble is quite OP, but it's not an unbeatable race, far from it.

This is mid game so you can't see all of his brambles. My critters were getting overwhelmed, so I had to fight fire with fire. There's a possibility that we may reach an agreement to both uproot, though.
