What about greenland? It has a seaport and airport and it can easily infect iceland.

^I'm gonna name my next virus TheQwertiest.
I usually pick South-Africa as start. Come to think of it, Egypt might be better. |

RE: The waiting is the hardest part...
The conventional wisdom is that Madagascar is best, mainly because you have a little more control over the transmission because there is no over land route. Greenland is a cold area, Australia has more scientists, and Madagascar just has less trading, so there is a better chance it won't spread until you are ready to. I don't think Greenland is a terrible idea though, because it is generally one of the last places I manage to infect. Best way to fix that? Pick Greenland as the starting zone! You just have to factor in the need for cold survivability earlier and watch your spread due to the close proximity to civilization.

Egypt and Brazil are my favorite places to start. Both of them because they have airports, seaports, and are part of the mainland, so it's easy to infect the whole mainland. Starting in places like those got me past Brutal on every disease type (still don't have all the modified genes though)
the thing about Madagascar or any other island is that if you're discovered before you make it to the mainland it's game over as soon as they close the air or seaport. GameCenter: ElPared Crying Foot OSN Player Profile: ElPared -- I'm always posting both wins and losses, critiques welcome |

Then when you get the message "there are not healthy people left on earth" you unleash fiery hell on them. I updated my game and when i played, the game was exactly the same as before. Same transmissions, same symptoms, same abilities. What are genes and how do you get them? I hear there's a secret Mobi hidden here somewhere… |
