That's why I suggested the disease only have a small chance to spread, so that the actual unit still gets some use after the first infection. And while the disease being able to spread does nerf the actual unit a bit, any unit that can pretty much wipe out a good portion of a team on its own is not weak.
Also, if the disease can spread, then it shouldn't damage every turn, simply because it would rarely spread; Snipers, Medics, and especially Runners, would all die before being able to spread it. |

I think the ghost idea is great, except instead of being invisible/masked, why not make it to where it disguises itself as a normal unit. When the enemy approaches it they become spooked and unable to move or attack for one turn. The ghost cannot move or perform the special attack for the next turn.

That seems a bit under-powered. If the special also gets frozen, then its pretty much giving it away.

Cool, I like the idea of spooked but what you said was when the OPPONENT approaches it, but what if you approach the opponent? You could potentially dive into a group of 5 units and have pretty much the whole enemy army immobilized. |
