Very slow players

One of my opponents is a slowpoke, likely as if he doesn't want to play this game.
Since if he doesn't make a move within 4 days it's auto-loss for him, he makes a move every 3 days, which makes me feel very annoying.

It is a league game which I don't want to hit give up since I'd lose league points. This game is on Long Nine which both sides are filled with bombshells and a massive amounts of soldiers, which may cause him to be bored at the game.

Anyone encounters this problem? How to fix it...

Yeah, occasionally, I do face this issue as well.

Opponents taking way too long to make a move.

Oh well, one of the unavoidable annoying parts of the game >< .

Yea, I have 2 games against a guy that seems to take moves every 4 days, right before the timer goes off. He has 100+ wins too, so I wonder if this is part of the strategy... wait forever to take your move, hope maybe your opponent gives up.

I once had 3 games of the "slow player" issue in the same time.

I don't think it's necessarily his intention to "bore you into losing". People do get bored of Outwitters from time to time, and then it's very difficult to force yourself to finish the games.

Holidays can also be a contributing factor.

So your best option is: buy something to increase your game limit. You know it makes sense

Agreed, attacking doesn't really speed anything up....he can still wait 4 days.
