Posting Replays
Hey everyone,

Having a blonde moment (no offense meant).

When I post a replay, it doesn't seem to be posting the link...simply the text of what the link should be. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any advice?

RE: Posting Replays
Simple solution. You have to enclose your link with [url] tags. So:

Code:
[url]linkgoesinhere[/url]

Which gives you this: http://linkgoesinhere

Or you could do it fancy style:

Code:
[url=linkgoesinhere]Some text whatever[/url]

Which looks like this: Some text whatever, but links to "linkgoeshere".

Example!

Code:
Sweetie Plains, 37 Turns: [url=outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20Yn5CVAgw] alanthefast (F) v. Emuchu (A)[/url]

Will produce the following:

Sweetie Plains, 37 Turns: alanthefast (F) v. Emuchu (A)

Of course, you'll need to be on your iThing to view an Outwitters link like this, unless you've installed the GreaseMonkey script to auto-open them in OSN.

"How'd you fix it?"
"I just employed a blunt-impact mechanical stress routine."
"What?"
"I kicked it."

RE: Posting Replays
Actually, there's an easier way that Someone pointed out. Just hit the little earth with a chain link button and paste the link in that box. It even asks you to name it so it looks the "fancy" way.

Btw make sure you delete the http stuff before you enter an Outwitters link if you are going to do this method!Smile
