How is advancement to the next tier calculated?

League advancement is not caused by simple streaks as a lot of people used to believe. Every player has two ratings: your Points, that you can see, are used for League standings, but do not correlate to your actual skill rating. Your Skill rating is a hidden value that determines who you match with and, ultimately, your League. Once this hidden value reaches a high enough number, you'll start matching up against players from the next League, and if you continue doing well, you'll finally hit promotion.

Long story short, if you started at the bottom of your league (for example), it might be a while 'til you get out, but keep chugging along and you'll get there.

Correct me if im wrong, but it ps by your hidden rating, not by how many games you've won in a row. It also depends, were the players your beating in your league? Or in the league above you?

I win against people in my league (Clever). From what you said, it seems that I need to play against players in the gifted league before I can advance. However, I have been starting a lot of league games and I keep getting players from my league . I have a friend who started later than me and has much fewers wins but he's now promoted to Gifted. He said he won a little over 50% of his games, but he had quite a few games where he was assigned to play with players in the gifted league.

How is assignment calculated? Is there any way to ask to play with players in a higher league?

Also being masters vs super-titan seems to be pretty bugged as you can manage to be in the top 200 weekly release (pretty high in the release as well) and still be masters. I am currently rank 128 and I have never played a game vs a super titan player yet.

hopefully that gets fixed with the coming update.
