It sounds like, depending on your Skill Rating, the Placement Match may put you in a different league than you're currently in. After all, I still know several Master-League players who are in the Top 100, so the new Placement might move them to Titan.

Of course, this is all under the assumption that the Placements will put you in a league solely based on your Skill Rating.

Ahh good explanation. I think I'm in the upper/middle half of gifted so it probably won't do anything for me. Though I only have about 4 losses my last 25ish games....

So current ST's get matched up with ST's on placement matches. That makes it more likely that they lose some placement matches, and so does this make it possible that a ST gets placed in gifted/masters?

You'll only be required to do 1 placement match. In most cases, losing to another ST won't demote you.
