I've been told I should have spawned a mobi after defending the first attack. Any other advice on what I could change?

Alright, obviously new to this map. First troop lost was dumb on my part. What could I have done to prevent from being slaughtered?

It was also very naive of me to think because my sniper wasn't in sight of the soldiers I could move him their for defense.

On turn six you placed your defensive formation too close to enemy forces, allowing an immediate attack. I also would have moved your newly spawned soldier into the formation instead of moving your left side runner.
