Rock/alternative (kings of Leon, incubus, system of a down, beastie boys)
Dub/ska (sublime, slightly stooped, no doubt)
Chill/ambient ( clams casino, zero 7, massive attack)

My top 3 favorites are
1. rage against the machine (f*** u I won't do what they tell me! So political and angry, I love it)
2. The black keys ( if you know them for only in their current pop state, check out the albums magic potion and attack and release for some rad 2piece blues rock awesomeness)
3. Tool (At first it sounds like the whole band is on drugs, then after to listening to their stuff, music and lyrics, in depth, you see that they are geniuses and most songs can blow your mind. If you haven't heard of them, check out these songs: lateralus, vicarious, stinkfist, aenima)
