Lack of active similarly skilled players especially in the higher rankings. Matching system would match players less similar in skill than it would generally do. It usually does this if the player is not matched after 1 day of the player creating the game.

I understand that, but that alone does not explain 20 games, unless almost all the other games were friendlies and the OP just randomly got matched in a league game against someone who they'd been playing friendlies with.

I think most players won't play much until after the app updates. That would be my best guess in addition to what I have stated.

I think 20 games is an exaggeration. More like 5. I opened about 10 new games and got clever league opponents in all of them.
What annoys me is that i tend to get a lot of p1 games vs lower league opponents and p2 games vs super titans.

That would annoy me too. I had a less extreme version of that at one point too, when I was moving from Gifted to Masters and playing people from both leagues for awhile I would always get p1 against Gifted and p2 against Masters.

It's more likely that there is a much smaller pool of players that match up with Bad Herr, causing the longer delay which results in expanding the pool to fluffy.
