Outwitters Future? - blckace - 03-29-2013 11:38 PM http://onemanleft.com/2013/03/leftovers/ This has been long coming but still sad to hear /Discuss RE: Outwitters Future? - GoHeat 3 - 03-29-2013 11:40 PM 1. I'm sad. 2. I love the teams. 3. I'm sad. 4. I'm going to continue to support OML! 5. I'm sad. RE: Outwitters Future? - blckace - 03-29-2013 11:44 PM Is continuing development for outwitters as a side project not possible? RE: Outwitters Future? - Ja Karta - 03-29-2013 11:48 PM Combination of monitezation problems, the bramble debacle (inroducing new content threatened their player base), and what I infer is a code base that wasn't well written for upkeep purposes... not really surprising. If the new ad supported version means they can keep the game running as is in perpetuity. Well that's something to be thankful for! RE: Outwitters Future? - Necrocat219 - 03-30-2013 12:17 AM They already said no new teams a while ago, but seeing the team concepts with a wonder of what their specials could be like and animations is sad, makes you think what could have been? RE: Outwitters Future? - TheQwertiest - 03-30-2013 12:25 AM very sad news.. RE: Outwitters Future? - GreatGonzales - 03-30-2013 12:35 AM I want these teams! I wonder what abilities these 3 specials have. Here are my guesses: Wah-Kapooie: Beneficial aura for allies Woken: Brings fog of war Frosties: Freeze enemy units for a turn I've assumed that OML is basically done with content for Outwitters. Maybe we'll see another map pack, but I dunno, I guess we have enough maps as is. RE: Outwitters Future? - TheQwertiest - 03-30-2013 12:39 AM im actually hoping its some sort of early april fools prank. yeah im now very curious as to what abilities those specials have. the woken team looks very interesting.. i would have loved to try it out.. RE: Outwitters Future? - RandyDogz - 03-30-2013 12:42 AM Sad day Even sadder is that an honest in app purchase model didn't work financially, I guess the 'pay to win' type games are gonna continue to rock the top grossing app lists, no idea why people waste their money on those crap games... Why is the financial success of a game inversely proportional to the amount of effort and skill required, that's messed up! RE: Outwitters Future? - GreatGonzales - 03-30-2013 12:49 AM Maybe Adam and Alex should consider doing a kickstarter. |
