Streaks
Is the only way to get to the next rank by winning streaks? Which means if you lose, the streak ends and you start off at 0 again?

No. You do want like a 95% win record. It doesn't necessarily have to be a streak though. Also you tend to play opponents a league up if your going to get promoted

I can tell you that when I got promoted to Master League, I went 16-1 before I got promoted with all 16 wins against Masters and the one loss against Gifted!

I'm definitely interested in hearing other peoples' experiences with this. I've been #1 in the gifted league for months now with no luck. Occasionally I'll hit a streak long enough to start battling masters but so far I've fallen off of them. Anyone else in the same boat?

It takes a long time to get promoted, but streaks didn't really seem to mater much for me. I lost a few games every so often, and eventually it was enough to get promoted.
