Ok, after a great struggle, GreatGonzales and The Rawkhawk have defeated TheBitPilot and Blueswimmer95, in the tie breaker match. Here are the replays.

Wow! Tiebreaker was awesome. The rush in that loss was just plain SICK!!! I've never seen a rush like that in 2v2.

We stole their idea in the tiebreaker match Smile It was unfortunate for them that both of them were adorables.

Wow, what a slugfest. Excellent use of Geometry with the Bombshell. It's interesting to me how much more difficult it was for Rawk and Gonzales to implement against players so familiar with the strategy.

I'm curious: anybody tracking which team has had FTA for each tourney match? I'd chase this down but I'm a bit short on time at the moment.

Also: I think I have a slot open for the semi-final matches...

I was wondering how we are deciding FTA for tiebreakers. We haven't needed a 3rd match yet, so it hasn't come up.

RE: 2 Vs. 2 Community Tourney
The stated rules for this tournament are: " If a third match is needed lower seeded players get the first turn advantage and map choice". So, in that case, BitPilot and Swimj had FTA in 2 of the 3 games. I am of the mind that we should just start 3 matches, declare one of them to be the tie breaker game, and that game would only count if the other two go 1:1. That way, we save time and don't have to wait for a whole game to complete.

But the drama, man. The drama!

Does anyone want to do another 2vs2 tourney? I'm clueless about the setup side though. Any suggestions on how we could start one? I'm lexxyish (2 x's) and alexia668 as well.
