Of course they matter . It's a pain to try to get out of fluffy and clever with all the time out games. Gifted gets better, most players play really fast, then towards mid-high masters the turn speed will slow down. There are a few fast players, but it's usually much slower. But yes, I think it's something like
0-2 wins = fluffy
2-4 wins = clever
4-5 wins = gifted
5 wins + win right after that = master
