Messed up system

RE: Messed up system
For my placement matches I went 5-0. I beat 1 clever, 3 masters, and 1 super-titan. I ended up in Masters. That seems pretty reasonable, but what doesn't seem reasonable is that the super-titan player I beat only had 3 league wins. This means at BEST they went 3-2 in placements. They also have 0 points which means they most have gone on to lose a ton of games yet they're still in super-titan. Kind of strange.

Thats the issue I have with these "leagues" as well combat. I went 4-1 after going 5-0 and was not happy with the gifted placement. I got over it, but after hearing and seeing people with at most, 3 wins I am not thrilled with the system in place.

Have you been promoted since?

I've noticed league movement happening pretty quickly, at least in a few cases. One example is I checked an old replay earlier today and my opponent who was in Titan ~rank 60 when I was doing my placements is now mid masters.

Nope, sitting at like 370 points rank 5. I'm about 66-10 with about 7 or 8 of those wins being 2v2. The thing about the losses most have been to masters level players ranked in the top 20 or so. I have had 1 or 2 gifted losses however.

Thanks for the heads up. I've tweaked *yet again* the placement system to help make placements make a bit more sense. It was far too 'eager' when mis-matched matchmaking occurred (either positively or negatively) to move either opponents.
