Alternate account and 2v2
Has anyone tried making an alternate account and doing arranged matches with yourself as your partner?

Yeah, I didn't like it. But you might be more tolerant of GC account switching, and enjoy it much more!

Yeah - it's better if you have two devices, rather than switching every time. It wasn't fun for me.. it was more tedious than it needed to be. I like having another set of eyes on the board, but you may enjoy having complete control more than I did!

RE: Alternate account and 2v2
It should be noted: this would be totally unfair and frowned upon for league play.

It'll be GG when you're up against GG of GG.

RE: Alternate account and 2v2
^i don't think it would be unfair. I believe this has been discussed before, and somebody said they had tried it and it was a disadvantage if anything. Having no partner means no second set of eyes to look at the board. The only advantage to playing with yourself is you know exactly what your partner will do, and this is essentially the same as knowing your partner in real life. I don't really see a problem with it.

RE: Alternate account and 2v2
I suppose that's true in some cases. But suppose someone like poweewee used a second account to play 2v2 with himself. That probably wouldn't be fair. Also, while it's definitely nice to have a second pair of eyes, communication is incredibly important for 2v2. Playing with yourself would obviously give you a communication advantage.

I don't know.. I fight with myself all the time, and usually lose.

RE: Alternate account and 2v2
No matter how hard I try, when I play vs myself I cannot improve beyond a 50% win ratio. I must try harder.
