No la! your bombshells on peekaboo surprised me twice. Yes, This is the major reason to me starting my alt, it is interesting to meet new players, however, Ive only met less than half of top 200 players for my accounts. there have an issue on the matching system for top players. It comes again to my alt now, it took more than 1 days to pair up my 3 games, all of them are youTongue. the top players are inactive?

RE: Win/Loss ratio required for promotion
I was thinking about the two win thing. My hypothesis is that it's Fluffy league. There are several possible outcomes for placement matches with 2 wins and all result in Fluffy, due to the hidden rating being not only about the outcome but the rough skill of your opponent.
Let's say that a player started these games one after the other:
First situtation
Game, Opponent's skill, Outcome, Skill level after this game
1, High ranked Fluffy*, Win, Clever
2, High ranked Clever, Loss, Low ranked Clever
3, Low ranked Clever, Win, High ranked Clever
4, High ranked Clever, Loss, Low ranked Clever
5, Low ranked Clever, Loss, Fluffy
League: Fluffy League
Second situation
1, Unranked - 2 wins, Win, Clever
2, Clever, Win, Gifted
3, Gifted, Loss, Clever
4, Clever, Loss, Fluffy
5, Fluffy, Loss, Fluffy
League: Fluffy League possibly lower in ranking than first outcome
Let's say a player started these games two, two and one, and that the first one finishes first but the player does not start any new games until both are finished:
Third situation:
Game, Opponent's skill, Outcome, Skill level after game(s)
First lot
1, Fluffy, Win, -
2, Unranked, Loss, Fluffy
Second lot
3, Fluffy, Loss, -
4, High ranked fluffy, Win, Clever
Last game
5, Clever, Loss, Fluffy
League: Fluffy League
Fourfth situation:
First lot
1, Fluffy, Loss, -
2, High ranked Fluffy, Loss, Fluffy
Second lot:
3, Fluffy, Win, -
4, Low ranked fluffy, Win, Clever
Last game:
5, Clever, Loss, Fluffy
League: Fluffy League
*High ranked means they are near promotion from their current league, low ranked therefore means they are either nearing demotion from their current league or right at the bottom of Fluffy
Edit: sorry the spaces I originally added are being ignored by the system. Hope you can read with the commas in.

Once a master of nothing, now a noob to pretty much everything.
Hiatus resolved. I stalk these hallways again.

Well your plans are surprising me aswell, you always find a way to destroy a bs that is seemingly unreachable!

Poweewee and Alvendor: unreachable for me, as for you, so far. Smile
LER4T: you could get matched with him, but he is kinda inactive, playing a turn each three days and he plays one battle at once.
Gavin: totally inactive.
Then you.
Joelduque: he doesn't seem to launch battles anymore, I don't get matched against him!
Then me.
And I don't know for the bottom. So, yeah, top 10 isn't really active to me!

Lol phine ^^ ForTheWin lost all his placements battles, and is now fighting his way toward clever!

First win, I'm now a top fluffy! Tongue

I will take one different team each battle, and put all replays here to make some stats. (I know you love them phineas)

Wow! It took me a couple of reads but I got there in the end Smile Could be right but there could be a Fluffy/Clever mix possibility. I'll put Fluffy in for now. Nice work though.

You be careful out there Mag!c Big Grin

@ Outwittersfan. Are you there? Your last post was only up for a few minutes and then was removed. It was a brilliant bit of info. Are you acameronp? That's the only player, off the top of my head, who would fit that style of play. What sort of date range did you cover with this system? As mentioned in the OP I think demotion stats are just as interesting. Questions, questions.

6 wins and still not promoted Smile

Two wins against a low clever and not promoted! So hard Sad

A quite weird battle against a more experienced clever:
