Or you could use the one where the thorns spike out when it grows

I hear there's a secret Mobi hidden here somewhere…

I like your idea necro but i think it would be too strong.
cause you can end up killing units and have a wall.

maybe you can spawn thorns under enemy units and it would deal 1 damage?
if it dies, a thorn will take its place. if it doesnt the the enemy unit will just take 1 damage.

There seems to be a misunderstanding... a scrambler with even 4 movement would be OP. I was suggesting a larger sight, but still 3 movement

You think only Adorables use snipers on SFI?

oh i see. i thought you meant it as 5 movement. i should have read it properly.
yeah an increase in sight would help. specially when youre against adorables. with their hit and run tactic.

but i do think feedback is behind. i think it would be more competative with the other teams with 4 movement

Thats exactly the same as what I was suggesting unless I'm misunderstanding something Tongue with the exception of the thorn taking it's place, which I would think would be more powerful?

I think maybe there was a misunderstanding - each thorn would have an option to spawn another thorn OR deal damage - for example on turn one of the bramble they only have the capability to deal 1 damage (1 chain).

RE: Rebalancing-- DaHsu's mods
yours would be able to attack a unit 3 spaces away from a thorn while my suggestion can reach only up to 2.

and itll only spawn a thorn if the unit attacked dies

I said adjacent, which means it's only if a unit is right next to a thorn - no new special thorn is spawned just to do damage. So basically the animation would show the thorn rapidly shaking and the unit beside it taking damage from the incoming thorns! also to have a range of 3 you would have to spawn a thorn and then use it, using up 2 wits.
Aaaaaah I see what the misunderstanding is - you think that whenever a thorn is spawned theres a small AoE of damage around it!

Nonono, what I'm saying that thorns would act as normal, but every enemy unit in range of 1 would have an option to attack them over them for 1 wit

RE: Rebalancing-- DaHsu's mods
I liked necrosis idea at first about the prickles...but think it would make OP. case in point in attachment...there is no way to stop bramble from occupying the whole map. With 3 hp only way to fight currently is with snipers or heavies. Prickles would mean just heavy's.

But I also don't like the changes. I thought he was more powerful when wits were not awarded on kill.

What if prickle cost 2 wits however? Or it was free but destroyed the branch or dropped branch to 1 hp?

Thorn Gully looks so different in your iPad screenshot.

;-) its certainly my preferred method of play. I make touch input mistakes on phone more often too.

For fun here is the latest turn of the same map...it's been slw moving knocking him back but I've just about secured the win.
