The other bug is happening in a friendly game. If I have the game open, waiting for my opponent's turn, it never comes. I exit to the game list and suddenly it's my turn!

Yeah, the game itself can't refresh and push that it's your turn. You need to quit to the game list, and that will refresh with the new games
