Another forum I used to frequent years ago/kinda still frequent a little bit again now (Adventure Game Studio) actually did have annual get-togethers despite the fact that everyone was from different parts of the world. It was called Mittens for no reason that I am aware of, and people would buy plane tickets and travel and hang out in a rented cabin and go to water parks and stuff just to meet up with these other people that they had only ever met online. I never went, because I could never afford a plane ticket (I'd rather, you know, buy ice cream and eat it with my girlfriend (at the time, now my wife (still eat ice cream with her (okay, one more for fun)))), plus, isn't it kinda scary/creepy meeting people in person that you've only met online?

Haha but I have to agree with Erenan that even though I wonder what you guys are like irl, I wouldn't want to meet up with you guys because I don't want to meet someone I only online

I say my posts in my head before I type them so they're pretty accurate to what I'd actually say. I do that in my fanfics too. If you're reading Executed, Lux is kinda based off me. If you're not then um yeah. As you can tell I also ramble a lot.

Erenan's right, it would be somewhat creepy. I would definitely not go. I don't want people here to know what I'm like irl. As you all probably know, I try hard to preserve anonymity.

There is one guy I've met online who I'd really like to visit in real life because he said that if I ever came to Athens where he lives he'd buy me a beer. I don't drink alcohol, of course, but I will never ever look a gift horse in the mouth.
