how do make an enemy unable to do anything on his/her turn? (easy)

Assuming unlimited wits and spawn spaces, corner every enemy unit with runners and put a runner on every enemy spawn space.

Actually I have no idea.

2 wits? (easy)

How about 6 wits? (hard)

My answer for the last one:

13 - It all began with a good but dirty and old man (scrambler).

Turn 1 - Senior (old) scrambler talks with another scrambler. They agreed. (+1)
Turn 2 - Junior (young) scrambler moves 3 hexes. (+3)
Turn 3 - New scrambler talks with mobi. They also agreed. (+1)
Turn 4 - Mobi moves 3 hexes. (+3)
Turn 5 - Mobi invites the bombshell to join the fun. (+1)
Turn 6 - The bombshell ejaculates with lots of splash. (+4)

That story would be my best guess.

Lone enemy unit is a medic or mobi. Enemy spawn spaces occupied by friendly (your) units. That enemy unit is surrounded/cornered by friendly units. Also, enemy has multiple medics each of which surrounded/cornered by friendly units.

Crazier, fill the map with boosted medics and mobi by all players (also you cannot do anything on your turn). Fill the map with mobis from all players.

4, bombshell splash
6, move a runner and attack

I'm not sure about the last one maybe there are better ways:
12, move scrambler (3), scramble an enemy scrambler with your scrambler (4), move your new scrambler (7), scramble an enemy sniper (8), move the sniper (9), attack with the sniper (12)

First two correct, SO close on the last one!

Haha, even closer.

Correct answer was 14:

Turn 1 - Move scrambler 3 hexes (3)
Turn 2 - Scramble enemy scrambler (4)
Turn 3 - Move scrambler 3 hexes (7)
Turn 4 - Scramble enemy runner (8)
Turn 5 - Move runner (13)
Turn 6 - Attack! (14)

Wrong, the correct answer is "infinite", I don't even need 6 wits for that. To quote the relevant loophole:

(10-16-2012 07:12 PM)awpertunity Wrote:  Assume that the setup of your/enemy units can be however you like and maps are as large/long as they need to be.

For the sake of argument, let's assume that my target Runner is on the most distant hex away from my runner (which I will use to attack and destroy it). No matter how big the map is, I just assume a Mobi is close enough to the enemy Runner to teleport my own Runner next to it (1 Wit) and let the Runner attack (2 Wits) - done. Mobi's teleportation is only limited by the size of the map, therefore I win.

Haha, well then let me quote the relevant overlook you made Tongue

(10-16-2012 07:12 PM)awpertunity Wrote:  In other words, how can you kill a 1 HP runner that is a minimum of "x" hexes away from ALL of your units at the start of your turn, using the number of wits I asked about.

Then since your Mobi is only 2 hexes away from the runner we are trying to kill, your answer yields 2. :]
