How do you get promoted?
Have been top of my league for months and people below me have disappeared I presume promoted, yet I'm still here lol

It's all to do with your hidden ranking (which doesn't match too well with the public league ranking).

How you will know for sure that you are close to being promoted (From Gifted to Master) is that you will start to play against Master players. Winning a few of these games in a row will usually be the catalyst to bump you up to the next tier.

Right. For example, you'll probably reach the top of your division point wise by playing a lot, but promotion works differently. You get promoted by winning more than losing. Eventually you'll start playing the tier above you, then after you win more than you lose against the tier above, you'll get closer to promotion. There's no set time/number of wins though.

Play games, don't lose. That's all I can explain.

Looks like you have been getting matched against Master players lately. Keep at it, keep winning, and eventually you'll get promoted. Don't get discouraged if it takes some time, though. Sometimes it just takes a while.
