Veggies aren't broken, they work fine. The reason they stopped making new teams, though, is because balancing Veggies out turned out to take a lot more time and effort than they'd intended and they didn't want to do that again.

I think its broken. How long has the veggies been out? How many good veggie players on top??
How often do you encounter veggienauts in league games? Did they bring the bramble out? if they did, did they win?

about once every 4-6 games.

every game that's not on Foundry, usually. Sometimes they win, sometimes they don't, but I can say the same thing about the other 3 teams.

granted I'm in Gifted, so yeah I'm pretty sure those questions weren't for me haha

Most of my games against veggies are against people who suck at using them (exception Chemoeum Smile ) I had one player who just kept on spamming thorns, linking 4 thorns jut to kill a runner. He hardly spawned anything. At the end of the game, I had 5 bombshells, a medic, and a runner. He had a bramble and possibly a thorn. People just don't know how to use veggies. They're not actually that bad. Just make sure your opponent doesn't scramble a thorn (cough couh chemoeum)

I think if you could hit the base with the bramble. They would become the supreme rushing race. And that would make them OP.

If it were considered, thorns can grow in places, right? Lots of weeds can grow anywhere, even inside a base. But I would consider maybe the thorn patches have to survive inside the base until their next turn to cause damage, like the whole "wit space stealing" scheme.

I quite like that idea. The opponent would need to know which thorn was the parent, or else take a gamble...
