I'm flipping out because I just found out about faeria, an awesome tcg board game that I'm going to buy soon I'm super excited :DDD

Make sure you can handle the community.. As CombatEX and myself found out a few months ago, the higher level crowd is particularly bad mannered.

I do hope that game gets an appropriate community - it doesn't have half-bad gameplay. A little too slow-paced for me, though.

Do you guys know the board game of "diplomacy"? There are communities who play it online, too. I didnt yet play it there but i played it years ago with friends. It looks a lot like the board game risk but it doesnt involve dices to be rolled. Everything is decided by rounds of negotiations among the players. It is big fun if you play it with friends who can separate friendsip from the game. Naturally it involves a lot of betrayal, lies and broken promises. It takes a few hours to be finished, too.

I've been playing this game, you might say its a sci-fi version of Diplomacy, online only.

hilariously awesome game, just couldn't get a group to play consistently.
They made a sequel as well.
