What strategy games are Outwitters players playing..?

Currently my favorite two-player strategy board game is YINSH. Although I prefer to play two-player strategy board games face-to-face against an opponent, I will play this one online at yinsh.biskai.de because I enjoy it that much.

For a refreshing alternative to regular Chess, I sometimes play Dark Chess at ItsYourTurn.com. This variant adds a fog-of-war element, much like Outwitters, into the mix.

In addition to Outwitters, the only other turn-based strategy games which I am currently playing on iOS are Hero Academy and Neuroshima Hex.

Although it would be a monumental undertaking and Apple would never let it happen, I would love to see the community build an iOS version of VASSAL. A grognard can dream, can't he. Smile

Games from the GIPF Project are cool. I have GIPF and TZAAR. The store didn't have YINSH when I went.

There are iOS versions of GIPF and TAMSK, but they are not very good (at all).

BTW, I play Samurai sometimes. Not really like Outwitters at all, but I think it's fun and strategic.

Ive played a bit of DotA, Warcraft 3, Advanced Wars, Uniwars(IOS! But badly balance IMO), starfront:Collision(Poor Mans SC!), D&D, BattleHeart(More RPG, but IOS and nice Art style), outwitters! And I like 2.5D Chess(2 boards, one symbolically above the other. Bottom Board can attack any peice on the above board of diagonally above it. Top Board can take a peice on bottom board only if directly atop it. Pawns only promoted if they reach the opposite side of the opposite board)

Does anyone play warzone 2100? Thats an open source real time strategy game based on a once commercial game which is now held alive by a small community.
