Why complicate it by adding an extra game just to decide the map of the meeting place? I'd even be open to leaving races open and let the teams decide.

Don't quite understand your resistance to different suggestions... and a suggestion to speed things up instead of dragging them on.

Agreed, teams can agree for a map without the need of a deciding match Smile

Of the 4 new maps you're suggesting, Thorn Gulley was used for the America vs Eurasia game 1. There was already a lot of analysis put into that game but many people who are in the clans. Glitch was the second map used for the AvE game, and is also being used twice in the meeting games.

Nothing wrong with Reaper or Foundry, but I don't quite understand what issue you have with letting the teams decide themselves? Or also requiring an additional match just to select a map if the two leaders don't agree?

Thrutchy and I are both for using different maps, and I'm sure most everyone else would be open to it as well.

If they can, then they won't need the deciding match. As simple as that Wink

If you agree with playing different maps, then you'll choose between Reaper or Foundry. Can you see it buddy? It's pretty simple.

Yes, but what do you have against just leaving it wide open for the leaders to select? That's what I don't understand.

Because this way is what I've learned from tournaments in the world. The participants don't choose anything about formats or rules in a tournament. And I think it's fair enough. There might be some cases where reasonable stuff could be missing and the moderator hears suggestions from whoever. But he'll make the last decision anyway.

Yet, it'll be up to the moderator what to do with his tourney, and I respect what they'd do.
