No, we learn to speak english with the perfect english accent English with french accent sounds ugly! I have classmates who have an awesome accent even though they don't have any english parent or smtg like that

Haha what makes you say that about me? But I guess you're kind of right, I speak English, Japanese, and Farsi fluently. I studied Spanish for 5 years so I kind of know it but not as fluently. When I go to South America or Spain it comes back to me within a week though. Also when I'm drunk my Spanish gets pretty good (or so I think...)

I actually don't remember why but something at the back of my head is hinting me that I've read something on this forum that makes you a likely candidate.
So where did you study Spanish? I wish other languages were more accessible here.

I learned Latin in school, but that's not really a language you speak - although it often helps understanding bits from other romanic languages.

I don't think my knowledge in Italian and French are sufficient for more than booking a room or ordering something at a restaurant.

I plan to learn a bit of Hungarian in the future, since my parents have a holiday home there, which is kinda hard because there's nearly nothing Hungarian has in common with other European languages.

So that's German, English, Latin, Italian, French. I'd say thats pretty impressive.

A few spelling differences. Armour vs armor, aluminium vs aluminum and maths vs math. And some other things.

A few spelling differences. Armour vs armor, aluminium vs aluminum and maths vs math. And some other things.

Some words are used differently: (US)Football≠(UK)Football, pants≠pants, vest≠vest
and some words are used in some English but not in the other: (US)Candy=(UK)sweets, diaper=nappies, wrench=spanner
