Congratulations to Yummy Noodles, our newly crowned Tilt To Live Allstar!

In preparation for Tilt to Live 2: Redonkulous which I am sure is eagerly-awaited by many on these forums I thought we could have a nice tourney to fire up some nostalgic feelings, get prepared for whatever awaits us in TtL2 and most importantly to determine the current Tilt to Live Allstar!

Rules

To prohibit the flaunting of past victories, this tournament is based on weekly scores in all 5 disciplines of Tilt to Live (for iPhone/iPod Touch).
This Tournament ends on July 21st, 18:00 UTC (4 weeks from now). At this point, the best scores since June 23rd* will be tallied up and the winners will be determined.
Every participant may enter with one and only one Game Center ID. Since I can hardly enforce this rule, I appeal to your honor in keeping this a fair challenge.

*: Since I can only verify your scores once you have sent a friend request (see below) and I can only filter by at most a week a few limitations apply: If you do a great score now and wait 2 weeks to send the friend request, the score will be lost to me and no complaining, raging, threatening, whining, pleading or bribing will change that. You can verify that I received and accepted your friend request by looking at the list of participants below.

Scoring
Since this is supposed to be an Allstar Tournament, the scoring spans and combines all 5 disciplines of Tilt to Live: Classic, Code Red, Gauntlet, Frostbite and ¡Viva la Turret!.
Every discipline will be ranked individually and the 10 best players receive points based on their rank. The first place gets 10 points, the second place 9 points and so on to the tenth place which gets 1 point. The sum of these points over all disciplines determines a players Allstar score and rank. The player whose scores earn him or her the most points wins the Tournament!
In the case of two or more players having the same Allstar score, their relative discipline ranks will be used to resolve the tie. For example, if two players were tied, one would have to be be higher placed than the other in 3 or 4 disciplines and would therefore win the tie.

How to enter

Send a Game Center friend request to TtL Allstar.
Play Tilt to Live between now and July 21st and submit your scores to Game Center.
There is no step 3.

EDIT: By the way so we will have our temporary scores up while we compete? and how come in 3 weeks time?

Great, but how will you deal with VLT? There's a very not-so subtle difference between HD and SD.

HD = iPad, SD = iPhone, right? And I do believe they don't end up on the same leaderboard.

But to be clear: since the iPhone version of Tilt to Live can be run on both iPad and iPhone, it is the version in question for this Tournament. I updated the first post accordingly.

I will post scores from the 3 week warm-up phase to give a sense of how high the scores are getting but only the weekly scores on July 21st will count - in other words: your highest scores per discipline between July 15th and July 21st is relevant for your final placement.
