You come to a fork in the road, where one path leads to the Village of Truthtellers, the other leads to the Village of Liars, where everyone always lies, but you don't know which path is which. There is a villager native to one of these villages at the fork, but you don't know which village he hails from, so you can't be sure if he's a liar or a truthteller. Ask him which village he lives in. He will either tell the truth or lie, but he will always point to the truthtellers' village. RE: Riddles!
The riddle goes something like this. I don't remember exactly so i don't know the answer but you guys are smart enough to figure it out
There are 5 people on one side of the river. Each person has something they want to bring to the other side. The boat needs someone to steer it. The boat has a weight limit of 3 or it will sink. People Sailor-1 Boy-1-can't be left alone(unreliable) Gardener-1 Butcher-2 Drunkard-2-can't be left alone(unreliable) Cargo Bird Bath-1 Bookshelf-2-needs someone reliable to stay with it Wheelbarrow-2 Crate-1 Sapling-1-needs someone reliable to stay with it How can you bring everything to the other side in the least amount of trips (05-04-2013 08:44 AM)bngn3000 Wrote: What runs without feet, has a bed but never sleeps, has a mouth but never speaks? What walks on four legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon, and three at night? (This is a pretty old one)

(This is a pretty old one)I remember that one. 1) A baby crawls on all four in the "morning of life" 2) Walks on two as an adult 3) The walks all hunched over and with a cane (three legs) at the end of life.
