Demoted after winning a match?

I was demoted from Master to Gifted after winning a match? Has this happen to anyone? I lost a few matches but won the next few. It was a win when I was demoted, which doesn't make much sense. Are there other factors that determine league rankings, like # of turns, base hp etc?
