RE: What clan should i join?
Leading is a lot of responsibility, even in gaming. Keep making friends and try to play with folks from different clans and see who meshes well with your play style and personality. The biggest impetus for clans in this game is strategy sharing and socializing, with a healthy dose of competitive inter-clan relations to keep each other sharp.

Personally, after lurking and posting on the forums for a bit, I approached a clan that I thought I would fit into the most. This was based on the personalities, mostly, of the members I saw posting here and there. If you find yourself agreeing with and following people with a certain clan logo under their name, maybe you would make a good fit in their clan. Also, playing the game is important. I can't speak for everyone, but if a random person started a game with me simply saying they are interested in my clan, I would entertain that notion and try to get to know them via in-game chat. |

RE: What clan should i join?
When I was in fourth grade, I had the bright idea to start a club. So I called my best friend and asked him if he wanted to join. He said, "Well... what would this club do?" And I realized that I didn't have an answer. So I didn't start a club after all, because there was really no point to my club. I just wanted to have a club.
Unless you have thought through some special reasons why you might want to start a new clan, joining an existing one is probably a more sensible idea. As others have said, check out the existing clan threads and spend some time chatting on the forums, getting to know some of the people in these clans. After you have established a rapport with some people, consider applying to join the clan that you feel drawn to based on the members' personalities, what the clan has to offer you, expectations the clan might have of you after you join (how active you're expected to be, etc.), and how much time and effort you intend to put into clan activities. If nothing else, joining a clan is a good way to organize your efforts towards improving your Outwitters skills in a way that also boosts your forum social activity. |
