REGARDING NEW 2V2 MAPS FOR TOURNAMENT PLAY:

As you are probably aware, a new map pack became available for purchase in the in-app store, which includes 2 new 2v2 maps. These maps are LEGAL for tournament play immediately; competitors may select one of the new maps for any new matches going forward.

One snag that we may hit: if a lower seeded team requests one of the new maps for the third match in a best of 3 situation, and the higher seeded team has not purchased the map pack. I hope this never happens, but if it does, please notify me and we'll work something out.

This notice is also going in the OP. Let me know if there are questions or concerns.

Some games take more time. There is a game ongoing that reached 100 turn bench mark today, started before the first round of this tournament.
Our team made first the 4th round and our opponent was first to reach round 3 on this tournament.
Neither team is slow or inactive according the tournament history.
Some games just last longer.

REGARDING USE OF VEGGIENAUTS:
Likewise, there was a recent buff given to the Veggienaut bramble, and the Veggienauts are technically legal. However, there are some known glitches associated with the recent update, including a means of preventing your opponent from viewing replays if a thorn is retracted. Please note that I will not tolerate any abuse of this glitch. If it seems obvious that this is being abused, please provide the replay as evidence and the offending team will be disqualified. Mmmmmmkay? Mmmkay.

s4mbita is AWOL eh? Very sad to hear, I don't want matches to end like that. However, you're correct, beyond getting s4mbita to become active, you have no recourse. I hope he/she comes back to the land of the living!
