RE: Favorite movies
I love movies. I wish I had enough time to watch every serious movie ever made. "Serious" here may be defined roughly as "not a straight-to-DVD Disney sequel" but that's not completely precise.

There is a long list of movies that I like a lot. Here are a few from each of the two categories of movies.

Horror Movies:

The Thing (1982 John Carpenter one; haven't seen the new one)
Audition
Videodrome
Silence of the Lambs

Not Horror Movies:

Children of Men
No Country for Old Men
Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World
White on Rice

RE: Favorite movies
I really like Presumed Innocent with Harrison Ford. It's one of those movies where you have to pay close attention to everything everyone says.
