I see your concern in this poit and I do think this tournament will take a little bit. The only reason I'm hesitant is you can't have a replay link for an ongoing game. What I was thinking is you have 4 days to complete your games. I think this is a reasonable amount of time. If your game is not over, whoever has more base points left wins. If no one replies about the base points or replay link or if both players have the same amount of base points, then the game will be a tie. The only thing I'm worried about is if the opponent is inactive it would be punishing the better player. If the opponent never made a move, I suppose I could give the win to the other player though. Tell me what you think about this. This would be a good idea but you have to remember lots of people will probably only be able to play 5 games at once. Also, they will probably have games going on right now too. Still, I feel this night be the best option. They should be able to finish 7 games in 28 days. Wow bumped myself Bump bump bump my post aren't showing Ok that seems the best way I guess. Just saying though, not all people can play 7 games at once and can only play 5 at a time. They also probably have games going on right now too. College Basketball Tournament for Outwitters! They call me the weed cutter, the cutie killer, the machine masher, the pirate pulverizer. Tell me what you think about this. It does seem like this would make the most sense. If the tournament doesn't start for almost another week and most players will only be able to play 5 games at once they should be able to finish the games they have going to make room for tournament specific games. Once the 7 games are up (or a portion thereof) they can pick up some non tourney games. There shouldn't be a significant impact on their ability to enjoy other game types. It doesn't seem like to much to ask of players to consider. If I had not just purchased all the team packs (specifically for the maps to compete in this tournament) I would definitely feel like I could manage 7 tournament games with a 5 game limit. |

It doesn't seem like to much to ask of players to consider. The other thing you could do is combine the two ideas. Have three games playing at once, given a time limit of 2 weeks. This will give players w/ a 5 game limit the ability to play 2 other games. |
