horrendous and deadly bug!

I think this is a bug, or it should be!

I have an enemy next to my spawn cell.
I have a bombshell 3 cells away from said spawn cell.
Normally, I would be able to choose that cell, 3 spaces away, as a shooting target and hit my enemy with 1 point of splash.
But this cell, being the spawn cell, when I touch on the "missile" icon, it pops up the character build menu and it doesn't let me SHOOT!!11!1

help, please... is there any trick to go around this issue?
It could cost me my match :-(

I don't remember having encountered this issue in the previous versions, but it may have existed already.

this was already an issue before. maybe they couldnt find a way to fix it.

well I'm pretty sure someone must have found it by now, after millions of matches played.

it's "simple" to fix:
* if you touch spawn and a bombshell is not selected, show spawn menu.
* if you touch spawn and your bombshell is selected, shoot dammit!

i dont know anything about programming but im pretty sure you cant just type that in and it just works.

i dont know anything about programming but im pretty sure you cant just type that in and it just works.

I've been programming for 27 years, and that's why I wrote "simple" in between quotes :-)
Conceptually it's extremely simple, codewise I don't know without looking at the code. But it's such a bad bug that even a quick/dirty/ugly hack would be better than leaving the bug there.

its a bit pathetic but i had subjects in highschool about html and c++
lol im not even sure if thats what its called.
but i remember there are some things where you had to alter alot to put something in.
maybe what youre saying coincides with the code for the spawn block or whatever i know nothing about this stuff xD
try putting it on the thread for bugs. maybe they just missed it.
