Hey guys,

So what is the official rule on promotions? I got promoted to Masters today. I totally understand if this means I'm disqualified. I'm just asking what the official rule is because I'm guessing I may not be the only one to have this issue through the course of the tournament.

Also, I just wanted to say that when I signed up for this tournament I had no reason to believe I was close to promotion. I have been playing a lot in the last couple weeks and that's where the promotion came from. I'm also not sure I'm ready, I'm afraid that I might get demoted again once the update comes and I have to rethink all my strategies, lol.

I would love to stay in, but like I said, I understand if I am disqualified. I hope that it doesn't make things hard having an odd number of players, I'm really sorry if I have complicated things. I will complete the one tournament game I have that is still in progress either way so that you have the information from this round for my opponent.

You fulfilled the requirements when you signed up, so you're staying in the tournament.

It would be stupid to encourage the players to not play league games anymore and get better because they might get promoted - especially with tournaments taking over a month.
