Profile stars?

Recently i noticed that each profile has a amount of stars connected to itself, and i was wondering:

What the hell do these mean?

My best bet is that it is an indicator of forum activity.

It's a representation of forum rank (which is determined by post count) as well as moderator or administrator ranks.

1 Star: confirmed user
2 Stars: 1 post
3 Stars: 50 posts
4 Stars: 250 posts
5 Stars: Probably 1K

7 Stars: Admin

I think 3 stars is for 50 posts, look at mine

My guess is 4 stars: 1000 posts, 5 stars, 2500 posts, 6 stars, 5000 posts and 7 stars: 10,000 posts.

I've searched in the member list and found following user titles/star counts/post counts:

• 0 stars: Account not activated/Banned
• 1 star: Newbie, 0 posts
• 2 stars: Junior Member, 1 post
• 3 stars: Member, 50 posts
• 4 stars: Senior Member, 200-250 posts
• 5 stars: ???, at least over 700 posts!
• 6 stars: ???????
• 7 stars: Administrator
