He gave the game away on turn 18. If he moves his soldier towards the back door after killing your Scrambler, he wins on his next turn.

Ah, you're right. I forgot to count the wit he spent clearing his healer off the spawn.

Put your units close to your base, especially to your spawn point. Avoid making many runners as they are easily killed by your enemy. When you attack an enemy unit, try as much as possible to kill that unit on the same turn as it could be healed by the enemy medic. Make your army have more soldiers as possible, boost them if you have wits to spare. You should read the help for newbies thread as I think much have already been mentioned there. Also read the help section in-game, watch Super-Titan replays, and save as much wits as possible as you defend your base. Hope I helped.
