Play a couple of friendly games before you do ur league matches to get the hang of things. I couldn't agree more! People not familiar with asynchronous games, really should start some matches with a friend first to get accommodated. And it's easier to learn to wait for other people if you know them Rising Star Tournament for Fluffy, Clever and Gifted players - FINAL ROUND started! |

Play a couple of friendly games before you do ur league matches to get the hang of things. i think if you are new to the game. the best way to start would be to read "help" (understand the rules, concept and unit capabilities (movement, attack, range, ability)). then watch replays, on all maps if possible. (to get a grasp of the basic unit formations (how to start in maps)) reread "help" try out pass and play. and when you get a grasp of wit usage. (like, what you can do with 5 wits) youre ready for league matches. |

RE: Tips for New Players
I've had games where I needed to create a heavy to survive and then I went on to win. It was a game with just 1 spawn space and my opponent had 2 soldiers right next to my spawn space and those were the only units on the board. If I had created anything else he would have won by killing it and covering my spawn space. I had to create a heavy to kill one of his soldiers and survive the next move.
So I reckon that it's rarely the best option to create a heavy, but sometimes it is essential! I dream of being a Super Duper Titan! |
