I couldn't agree more! People not familiar with asynchronous games, really should start some matches with a friend first to get accommodated. And it's easier to learn to wait for other people if you know them

i think if you are new to the game. the best way to start would be to read "help"
(understand the rules, concept and unit capabilities (movement, attack, range, ability)).
then watch replays, on all maps if possible. (to get a grasp of the basic unit formations (how to start in maps))
reread "help"
try out pass and play.
and when you get a grasp of wit usage. (like, what you can do with 5 wits)
youre ready for league matches.
