Hahahah, but whats te issue, Jamay? You dont want somebody wear earbuds and not hearing you asking him to take out the trash? Or you dont want to have to ask? Or you dont want to be the one not hearing because you are playing with earbuds? Or you like to take care of your own trash only?

I dont like earbuds as well. I want to hear what goes on around me.
