Hi. I think there are two options about when to bring it out. Very early or kind of "late" when you have gathered a good defense. But I've seen when one brings it out "in the middle", if your opponent does a good attack, you wouldn't be able to stop that attack since you wouldn't have enough attacking/strong units. Well, that's what I learned and watched from replays and matches. It's just interesting playing Veggies though
